Potluck Party 2026: “Find Your Light, Define Your Story” Welcomes English Letters Freshmen
A new chapter began for English Letters freshmen as they gathered at Potluck Party 2026, an event that brought students together to connect, interact, and become familiar with their new academic community.
Carrying the theme “Find Your Light, Define Your Story,” this year’s Potluck Party adopted a Tinkerbell-inspired concept, symbolizing growth, friendship, and the courage to discover one’s own path. The theme encouraged new students to view their university journey as a story that they can shape through their experiences, relationships, and personal growth.
The event brought together freshmen, committee members, and senior students, while the new students were also introduced to the lecturers in the department. Through games, group activities, and informal conversations, participants had the opportunity to get to know one another beyond the classroom.
More than simply an introduction event, Potluck Party 2026 provided a space for freshmen to begin building connections within the English Letters community. The gathering encouraged students to step outside their comfort zones, meet new people, and create lasting memories together.
As the new students begin their university journey, “Find Your Light, Define Your Story” serves as a reminder that every student has a unique story to tell, a moment to connect, explore, and discover the possibilities ahead. back
