English Letters FCH Celebration 2025: A Space of Creativity and Togetherness

On Friday, December 5, 2025, the English Letters Department of Sanata Dharma University held a joint FCH Celebration for the first-semester classes. Taking place from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M at Koendjono Room, Auditorium Driyarkara, the celebration marked a meaningful closing moment of Forum Cerdas Humanis (FCH) I program.

The celebration was facilitated by three lecturers from the participating classes along with the co-facilitators. This event aimed to honor students’ personal development, reflect on the classroom dynamics they experienced, and strengthen community building among classes. As the final moment of FCH I, this celebration underscored the value of collective growth.

The celebration was opened by Almira Ghassani Shabrina Romala, S.S., M.A, who represented the teaching team, she encouraged students to cherish the memorable encounters and continue to reflect on personal and academic development.

The celebration unfolded in an energetic atmosphere among the three classes. During the celebration, each class performed a range of artistic and musical performances in harmony, including band sessions, a flashmob, dance, and musical performance, followed by a photo session. As a sharing session followed, three students from different classes were asked to share insights gained during FCH I. A student from class B shared the favorite activity during the class was creating a life map, which helped to reflect on the important values in life. With the successful collaborative celebration, we hope this event can continue in the future, as a space for students to connect and share creativity meaningful moments among students.
