HMPSSING Cabinet Officially Sworn In During National Heroes Day Ceremony

Yogyakarta - The English Letters Student Association (HMPSSING) officially welcomed its new cabinet through a swearing-in ceremony held on 10 November 2025 at Ruang Koendjono, Kampus 2, Universitas Sanata Dharma. The event was organized by the English Letters General Election Committee (KPU Sastra Inggris) as part of the annual tradition of inaugurating new leadership on National Heroes Day.
The ceremony served as an important moment of regeneration within HMPSSING, marking the transition of responsibilities from the previous cabinet to the newly elected members. Representatives from the study programme, including the head and vice-head, were present to oversee the ceremony and witness the formal oath-taking.

During the ceremony, each member of the new cabinet stood before the programme leadership and representatives to swear their commitment to uphold the values of the association and carry out their duties responsibly. The atmosphere remained solemn yet hopeful, reflecting the significance of National Heroes Day as a symbol of dedication and service.

In addition to the main cabinet, the new chairpersons for UKPS (Unit Kegiatan Program Studi) were also sworn in during the event. Their inclusion underscored the department’s commitment to ensuring that all leadership bodies begin the new term with unified direction and shared accountability.
According to KPU Sastra Inggris, the timing and structure of the event were intentionally designed to reinforce the spirit of leadership, responsibility, and continuity within the organisation. With the oath officially taken, the new HMPSSING cabinet is now fully inaugurated and prepared to begin its term. (Sakti)
