English Letters KPU Holds “Sosialisasi” to Introduce New HMPS Candidates

The General Election Committee (KPU) of the English Letters Department held a public forum on October 20, 2025, at the Ruang Koendjono, Kampus 2, Universitas Sanata Dharma, to introduce the new candidates for the English Letters Student Association (HMPS Sastra Inggris).

The event was organized as part of the department’s annual democratic process, aimed at providing students with a clearer understanding of each candidate’s background, vision, and mission. By introducing the candidates directly, the committee hopes to encourage students to participate in discussions about the department’s future and its ongoing issues with their representatives.

During the event, the KPU served as both organizer and moderator, guiding the flow of the event and ensuring that each participant received equal opportunity to engage with the nominees through a live question-and-answer session.

“We want this process to be transparent and participatory,” the chairperson of KPU stated in his speech, emphasizing the importance of student involvement in shaping HMPS and its programs.


The session concluded with closing remarks from the MC and the chairperson candidate of HMPS Sastra Inggris, encouraging English Letters students to take part in the upcoming HMPS and support the department’s continued spirit of leadership and collaboration. (KPU)
