Student Committee Meets Up for "ELEVEN" – An English Letters Events and Competitions
The English Letters class meeting committee is excited to prepare for an event named "ELEVEN," standing for English Letters Events and Competitions. It is scheduled to take place on May 3-4, 2024. The committee recently held a meeting on April 22, 2024, at Clover Coffee, to finalize the rules and regulations for the various games and competitions that will be featured in "ELEVEN." Attended by the chief of the committee, judges, and representatives from the competition divisions, the meeting was a productive session aimed at ensuring a smooth and fair competition.
The events and competitions are open to all English Letters department students and lecturers. Here is a sneak peek into the exciting line up of games and competitions that participants can look forward to:

- Poetry Writing Competition: Open to all English Letters students from batches 21-23. The poems will be judged based on criteria such as creativity, originality, and organization, with winners getting the opportunity to perform during the awarding night.
- Lyric Writing Competition: Craft words into songs and weave language with emotion to connect with listeners. This online competition offers winners a chance also to perform their songs on the award night.
- Ticket Hunting Competition: This competition tests the participants’ reflexes and race against time to collect tickets scattered around. The participants challenge themselves further by winning mini-games to secure special tickets.
- Basketball: This game will be held at Realino's basketball court.
- Futsal: Participants will compete in fast-paced indoor football matches at Telaga Futsal 1.
- Mobile Legends Tournament: This is an online mobile game. The participants strategize and battle in the popular mobile game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, aiming to destroy the opposing team's base while defending your own.
- Storytelling Competition: The participants retell Disney fairy tales in a fun and creative ways in their own words with each class sending a representative to participate.
- Sarong Water Volley: Experience a hilarious twist on volleyball using sarongs instead of hands, featuring water balloon explosions and exhilarating gameplay.
- Song Cover: Showcase your musical talent by delivering a unique interpretation of a well-known song, adding a fresh twist to familiar tunes.
- Water Relay Race: Team up with friends in a unique race to transport water using creative methods, offering a refreshing and entertaining challenge.
