Dita Journal: Cultural Night
I am really proud to be an Indonesian. Global Leadership Program is such a perfect occasion to show Indonesian culture and to nurture a mutual understanding among countries. This time around we were given opportunity to show our cultural heritage. We danced several Indonesian traditional dances and sang some Indonesian folk songs. It turned out, we became the most well-prepared team. We had a great applause from the audience. Perhaps they were mesmerized by our performance. I felt elated and overjoyed. The audience liked our costumes and performance very much. My Philippine friends said that they loved Indonesian cultural performance.
For me, that night was one of the days worth remembering in my life. (dita)
