String Movie Showing
To celebrate the Anniversary of Faculty of Letters, String Movie Maniacs, the English Letters’ movie club held a movie night event where movies were shown for free in three consecutive days from 21 to 23 May 2013 at the student hall. The movies played in this event starting from Tuesday to Thursday were Usual Suspect, The Last Stand and Mama.
Dr. H. Purwanto, M.A. as the chair of the anniversary commitee commenced this event by delivering a speech on the first day. “Today we are given so many options to enjoy literary works; one of them is of course, film. We can choose what kind of films we want to watch. Every film has elements of literature made by the director so that the audiences can enjoy literary works in vivid form", said Dr. Purwanto. (debby)
