The Graduate Program of Universitas Sanata Dharma Opens Its Doors to the New Class of 2025/2026

The Palma Room was filled with excitement on Tuesday, August 26, 2024, as The Graduate Program of Universitas Sanata Dharma held a welcoming orientation for students of the 2025/2026 academic year. The event was the perfect start for the incoming class, giving them a first look into the university's environment.


The event featured welcoming remarks from the leaders of the Graduate Program. Students were greeted by the Heads of the Study Programs, beginning with Father Dr. G. Budi Subanar, S.J., from the Doctoral Program in Cultural Studies , followed by Dr. Yustina Devi Ardhiani, M.Hum, from the Master's Program in Cultural Studies, and Bapak Agustinus Hardi Prasetyo, Ph.D., from the Master's Program in English Language Studies. The final address was delivered by the Director of the Graduate Program, Prof. Paulus Sarwoto, Ph.D., who officially opened the orientation for the new academic year.

A special part of the day was the personal introductions. To help students get to know the community, faculty members from each department stood up to greet the new class. The program's administrative team was also introduced, including Mbak Dwityas Anindita, Mbak Christina Desy Hapsari, and Mbak Caecilia Venbi Astuti, who will support the students throughout their studies.

After a lively Q&A session and a group photo to mark the occasion, the orientation moved to its next phase. Students walked together to a new building for meetings focused on their specific fields of study. These smaller sessions gave them the chance to learn more about their courses and connect with their new classmates.

The orientation was a great success, helping students feel comfortable and ready for the journey ahead. The Graduate Program of Universitas Sanata Dharma extends a warm welcome to all new students and wishes them the best in their studies.
