"Emerging Current and Future Potential Technology for Distance Education"

29/09/2014 WIB

Background

Developments in internet and multimedia
technologies are the basic enabler of online education
and/or E-learning programs, with consultion,
contents, technologies, services and supports being
identified as the five key sectors of the E-learning
industry. E-learning is essentially the computer and
network-enabled transfer of skills and knowledge. It is
naturally suited to distance learning, but can also be
used in conjunction with face-to-face teaching, in
which case the term blended learning is commonly
used. Considering the above advances in the ICT-
based learning as well as the technology utilization,
SEAMOLEC is to conduct a seminar about Emerging
Current and Future Potential Technology for online
education, as the arena for sharing best practices,
results of research and development activities, as well
as opportunity for networking in the area of online
education or e-learning.
