To welcome the ASEAN Economic Community, which will be implemented on 31 December 2015, the Student Body of the English Education Programme of PGRI University of Yogyakarta (Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta -- UPY) organized a one-day seminar or conference whose theme read English to Prepare Indonesian English Teachers Encountering the ASEAN Economic Community. The seminar took place in the auditorium of UPY, Sonosewu, Bantul, Yogyakarta on Tuesday 13 October 2015. The keynote speaker of the event was Barli Bram, of USD PBI, who delivered a talk entitled English Language Education and the ASEAN Economic Community: What and How to Prepare Optimally.
