SLT Takers Compile Proceedings
Wed, 09 Jan 2013
USD PBI students taking the course Seminar on Language Teaching or SLT for short compiled four proceedings after they completed their oral paper presentations at the beginning of December 2012. The SLT-ers, consisting of approximately 110 students who mostly belong to batch 2009, were divided into four classes and then into many groups, each consisting of two or three students. The seminar papers cover various topics, particularly English learning-teaching issues in Indonesia.

The course English Teaching Seminar (SLT) offers invaluable opportunities to students of the English Language Education Study Programme (PBI) of Sanata Dharma University to learn a lot of skills and knowledge. As Dr J Bismoko, who has visionarily designed the course outline, states clearly, SLT aims to assist PBI students to “write a seminar paper and present it, and to organize a seminar“ in a group of two or three members.
