Creative Writing Group Work

As an elective course, Creative Writing of the English Language Education Study Programme of Sanata Dharma University Yogyakarta is offered nearly every semester, especially to PBI students above semester three. Based on the course description, it aims to"introduce students to the process and techniques of creative writing. It takes a student-centered approach to creative writing, offering a range of strategies to help student develop as a writer. The emphasis is highly practical, with exercises and activities designed to ignite and sustain the writing impulse. The course starts by showing ways of using memory and experience and building a daily discipline.
