PBI Students for Better Education

Two students of the English Language Education Study Program (ELESP) namely Faustina Sakshi M W and MM Danya Nindita Putri had the opportunity to join the Campus Teaching Batch 7 programme that was held on 26 February until 19 June 2024. Basically, each student was assigned to a different school. MM Danya Nindita Putri at SD Negeri 1 Dompyongan, which is located in Jogonalan, Klaten, Central Java. While Faustina Sakshi M W was assigned to SD Negeri Berbah 1, which is located in Berbah, Sleman, Yogyakarta.

Kampus Mengajar Batch 7 is back with renewed vigor, with a mission to improve the quality of education in schools across Indonesia. This year, students from the English Language Education Study Program (ELESP) participated in a collaboration that aims to strengthen literacy and numeracy among students.

This program aims to improve literacy and numeracy. ELESP students and students from other campuses collaborate to provide tutoring, organize workshops and other educational activities to help students improve their reading, writing and numeracy skills. The approach used is not only based on traditional teaching methods, but also utilizes technology and other creative methods to make learning more interesting and effective. Through this program, all students have gained valuable experience in teaching and interacting directly with other fellow students to be better educators. What a cool program!
