English Education Master’s Program (EEMP) or Magister Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris (MPBI) of Sanata Dharma University (SDU) held an Open House on March 26^th, 2019. Taking place at Student Hall in Mrican, the event was aimed to introduce the study program to undergraduate students who were about to finish their bachelor study.

The Open House was attended by more than 30 undergraduate students from various majors in SDU. Besides, five lecturers of EEMP joined this event as the speakers of the talk show at the Open House. They were Barli Bram, M. Ed., Ph.D.; Concilianus Laos Mbato, M.A., Ed.D.; Markus Budiraharjo, M.Ed., Ed.D.; Paulus Kuswandono, Ph.D., and Dr. Retno Muljani, M.Pd.

The talk show was initiated with the presentation of MPBI’s vision and mission by Concilianus Laos Mbato, M.A., Ed.D. as the chair of the study program. In addition to that, he also presented an overview of MPBI academic activities along with the advantages MPBI students may obtain when joining the post graduate program of EEMP SDU.

The Open House also carried the goal of raising the awareness of undergraduate students about the importance of pursuing higher studies so that young generations could broaden their perspective and knowledge and finally contribute more to the nation.  [mdr]
