On Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 08.00, the 2024 New Student Seminar was held in the Drost Room, 4th Floor, Campus III, Sanata Dharma University, Paingan, Maguwoharjo, Yogyakarta Special Region. The 2024 New Student Seminar this time carries the title "Puzzle Journey, Let's Step Together". The New Student Seminar is one of a series of events from Akrab Psikologi which is a faculty initiation from the Faculty of Psychology. The 2024 New Student Seminar this time was led by Victor Edo Kristiawan, Desna Warintan Br Lumban Gaol, and Gervasius Agra Pradana, students of the Faculty of Psychology, Sanata Dharma University. The 2024 New Student Seminar was attended by all 2024 New Students.

This year, the New Student Seminar was attended by 4 speakers who are alumni of the Faculty of Psychology, Sanata Dharma University. These four speakers represent 4 different fields of Psychology. The field of Forensic Psychology was presented by Kompol Angela Yohana M.K, S.Psi, M.Psi, Psychologist, the field of Educational Psychology was represented by Ni Luh Putu Utari Mayadevi, M.Psi., Psychologist, then Dorotea Loma Isa Pangesti, S.Psi as a speaker in the field of Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Finally, the newly introduced field this year is the Facilitator field represented by Catarina Chandra Cinitya, S.Psi.

The series of 2024 New Student Seminar events began with the first talk show session which discussed the fields of Educational Psychology and Forensic Psychology. In the discussion of the first session, there are several similarities between these two fields, namely, to explore these two fields it is necessary to have an education level up to S2 Psychology. Next, continued with the second session of the talk show which presented the field of Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the Facilitator field. Through the discussion of this second session, there are several things that are quite interesting, one of which is that the Facilitator field plays an important role in every other field of Psychology. For example, when the field of Industrial and Organizational Psychology requires training related to Leadership, they will need a role that is able to provide the training or commonly referred to as Experiential Learning Instructor.

The series of events ended with the presence of friends from the Indonesian Psychology Student Association to introduce ILMPI to the New Students of 2024.
